Happy Moments

I decided to start a new weekly series on this blog called "Happy Moments".
I plan to create a post every Sunday about some of the beautiful and "happy moments" of the week, no matter how good or bad the week was.

January has been one of the craziest months this year. (Ha!)
But in all seriousness, it has been feeling like life has been just passing by.
But this past week was finals week and after I was done, I finally got a chance to wind down.
With nothing but relaxing to do, I did some of the things that made me most happy.

On Thursday, I shopped at Target (my happy place) for over two hours (ridiculous) and picked up some incredibly cute things (that I will actually use!), including sugar pearls and colorful cupcake liners for baking treats!

On Friday, I went out to brunch with my mom and then volunteered for one of my favorite organizations—Feed My Starving Children. Then, after volunteering, my family decided to take a quick weekend trip to the Twin Cities, where we discovered our new favorite bakery, completely by accident, and passed an incredible neighborhood with beautiful houses and a good sushi restaurant! The icing on the cake for the great weekend were a shopping spree at J. Crew and some great (fat free!) midnight snacks!

{I got to serve as the photographer for the volunteering event!}

{our GPS, which we set up to lead us to Mall of America, led us here!}

{best blackberry tart I've ever had!}

{beautiful houses with intricate details that I love}

{spicy tuna = my fave!}
{dried strawberries -- whole bag is 90cal!}

It has definitely been a joyous weekend. I hope yours was just as amazing.
Happy week!
