Girl's Generation "The Boys": Taeyeon

As most of you Kpop fans know, Girl's Generation just released their new music video last month, called "The Boys". I ended up loving this song and how all the girls looked. If you have not seen this yet here is the video! Check it out!

All of their make-up looks were very similar, but varied just a bit in their individual shots. I decided to base my look off of Taeyeon. I really liked how she looked in the eyeliner and the pop of gold underneath her inner corners. Her skin was pale yet glowy, and her lips were the perfect shade, not too much, but just the right amount of color.

Here is my rendition to make this look slightly more wearable for day time!

GIRLS BRING THE BOYS OUT

Read more to see how I did it!

First, I applied some BB Cream. I used SKIN79's triple function hot pink bb cream. You should use something that brightens your skin but also natural looking at the same time. Make sure to cover your under eye circles!

Since BB creams are sticky, set it with some light powder, focus mainly on the t-zone if you have oily skin.

Use a primer to make the shadows appear more vibrant and last longer

Using a light and a pale gold color, sweep it over the lids.
Product Used: Flirt limited edition palette from Kohl's.

Use a charcoal color or any darker color and deepen the outer corners.
Product Used: Loreal HIP duo in gilded

This is what we have so far!

Make sure to take that dark color and sweep it on the lower lash line

Next, line your eyes with a gel liner and make sure to wing it out. Taeyeon and the rest of the girls had very intense wings, but we are just going to wing it out just a bit so it is still wearable. :-)
Product Used: Physicians Formula Liner + Eco Tools brush

We are going to line and wing out the lower lash line as well. As you can see the line and wing is a lot lighter in color, this tones down the look.

This is optional but i doubled winged the liner slightly. This adds a fun element to the look!

Put a more metallic and darker gold underneath the inner half of the eye. And also, use the pale gold again to brighten up the inner corners.
Product Used: Loreal Hip Dual in Gilded and the Flirt palette.

Curl and add mascara. For a more intense look, add some falsies!
Product Used: Maybelline One by One Mascara

Apply a peachy toned blush that adds a bit of glow/shimmer
Product Used: MAC Blush in Eversun

Lastly, add a soft pink lipstick! This shade is Rimmel's Airy Fairy.

Here is the final look!! As you can see its inspired by Taeyeon but it is much more toned down.
