Baking Time: Holidays Treats Roundup

If there was anything I did more than breathing in the month of December, it was probably baking.
I baked several different recipes that were all very minimal work and super fun.
Here are the best treats that I made in December!

Cookies:

Chocolate-chip cookies

In the beginning of December, I had a pretty low day,
so I got home and baked for a solid 4 hours and I was in the best mood
at the end of the day. After I was done, I came out with
some amazing treats including these chocolate chip cookies,
which I dipped in some leftover semisweet chocolate.

Reindeer cookies

On the last day of school before break, Grace and I
got together and had a huge baking fiasco. These cookies were one of the many
cute holiday goodies, and they were so fun to make!
This reindeer cookie idea was inspired from Pintrest (below),
but due to lack of talent, I simply made sugar cookies and decorated them.

(My family loved recreating them, too!)
{the attempts of my mom and brother}
{panda reindeer}
Peanut butter blossoms
{sorry, I forgot to take a picture of them before I devoured them- credit}
These are the reason why I am gaining so much weight.
THEY ARE SO ADDICTING.
A couple days ago, my parents thew a party and I was in charge of desserts.
I made these from here with a few adjustments on my own
and they were so chewy, delicious, and easy to make.

Nutella cookies

These were probably the easiest, quickest cookies I've ever made out of scratch,
and they require only four ingredients: egg, flour, sugar, and of course, Nutella!
Refer to this recipe for a treat that's fail-proof!

Cake Pops

Although these are quite messy and time-consuming,
cake balls are my favorite treats of 2011!
I love using a lot of frosting to make the consistency
creamier and the taste richer.It's as easy as baking a cake, crushing it,
mixing in a tub of frosting, and rolling them into balls!
I love the chocolate cake + chocolate frosting and red velvet
cake + cream cheese frosting combos the best.

Oreo balls

These aren't exactly in the cake pops category, but they are still so cute in their bite-size form.
These were another products of "Grace and Julia's baking fiasco", and they were incredibly non-laborious with amazing results.
We finely crushed a box of Oreos, mixed with 4/5 tub of softened cream cheese,
rolled them into balls, and dipped them in white chocolate. (How easy and quick!)

I hope you all had an amazing 2011 and hope 2012 is filled with amazing baked goodies! ;)
