December Recap!

Merry Christmas, everybody!

I realize I have been gone for the longest time, but I can explain!
A lot has happened in the past month, so here is a summary of major events to fill you guys in on the news!

1. Thanksgiving:
Last time I blogged was on my way to Chicago on Thanksgiving day, and it was truly an amazing trip! I will do a quick "Snip of the trip" post on Chicago, including my experience from the annual Black Friday shopping trip in Chicago.

2. Acceptance to College:
This is probably by far the most exciting news of all! I applied to Wellesley College in October and got accepted through early decision admissions on 12/10! I am so excited to go there and can't wait to go shopping for dorm stuff! :)

3. Journalism:
I am the editor-in-chief of our school newspaper and for the first time ever, our school switched from a newspaper format to the magazine format. It was new territory for everyone and I ended up staying at school until 10pm everyday for about a week editing and pretty much trying to figure out what the heck I was doing! It was truly one of the most time and energy-consuming activities I've ever had to do, but the very first issue came out, and I must say, it was worth it!

4. Christmas!!!
Christmas is my favorite holiday. Despite having strangely warm weather and a not-so-white Christmas, it was so much fun thinking of, getting, and opening presents for/with my family! This year my family who live an hour away came over and we had a traditional Korean dinner while listening to Michael Buble. All I can say is, I am so grateful for all of the blessings I have, and I hope everyone else had an even better Christmas!

Truly, its been a hectic but amazing month. Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone! :)
