I have never fallen in love with a nail polish at first sight.
But about a couple of weeks ago, I was
browsing through the cosmetics isle of the drugstore.
Then, I saw it.
Its beauty glistened under the artificial lighting and
the metallic-ness just screamed my name.
I HAD TO HAVE IT.
But I didn't get it.
It has been two weeks, and not a day passed
by with me not thinking about this polish.
(look at me, I'm pathetic)
BUT I FINALLY GOT IT. LAST SATURDAY. YES.
This color is called "Silver Dollar" by Revlon.
And as the title, it is a silver color similar to that of a coin.
Here is the application of this polish. THIS MADE ME FALL EVEN DEEPER IN LOVE.
First, you should always apply a base coat.
A base coat usually makes the application smoother,
protects your nails from staining, and
sometimes even makes the polish last longer.
Then, apply the polish itself. With this polish, you really just
need one coat because it is so opaque, but 2 coats does
make it appear more dramatic and even more metallic.
Here is a close up:
(sorry, it's kinda messy BUT STILL BEAUTIFUL)
You probably can tell I'm really in love with this nail polish.
This is because it is not just any silver metallic polish,
it is a silver metallic polish with really fine glitter!!
Julia said it looks like aluminum foil, and it does!
It's just not as industrial and tough.
It looks stunning!
Pros:
Non-Streaky
Opaque
Long Lasting
PRETTY
Cons:
A little hard to get off
If you are looking for a silver polish, I would strongly recommend this!
It's around $3-5 depending on where you go.
I think there is also a gold one so go check them out!
Have a good Thursday!!
